Search analysis for websites we operate

Jarvis SEO Engine

Jarvis SEO Engine is a private search engine optimisation tool operated by WebServ. It reads search performance and traffic reports for websites we own or manage, finds where content can be improved, and prepares recommendations. A person reviews every recommendation before anything changes on a website.

What Jarvis does

Jarvis turns search and traffic reports into a short list of concrete improvements, and then checks whether they worked.

Search performance analysis

Imports clicks, impressions, click-through rate and average position per search query and page from Google Search Console. Only finalised data is used.

Traffic measurement

Reads daily users, sessions and page views from Google Analytics 4, per site and per page, to see how pages perform before and after a change.

Index checks

On request, asks the URL Inspection report in Search Console whether published articles are indexed by Google.

Content opportunities

Finds pages that are shown in search but rarely clicked, content that needs a refresh, pages that compete with each other, and missing internal links.

Recommendations with review

Prepares specific recommendations for each website. Nothing is published or changed automatically. A person approves or rejects each one.

Activity history

Records each recommendation, decision and result, so later search data can show whether a change helped.

How it works

Jarvis runs on systems operated by WebServ. It has no public sign-up and no public interface.

  1. ConnectThe owner of a website signs in with their Google account and grants Jarvis read-only access to Search Console and Google Analytics.
  2. ImportScheduled jobs read the latest reports once a day and store them in Jarvis.
  3. AnalyseJarvis compares queries, pages and traffic over time and selects the changes most likely to help.
  4. ReviewA person reviews each recommendation. Only approved work goes ahead.
  5. MeasureLater reports show the effect of each change, which feeds into the next round of recommendations.

Google data and permissions

Jarvis asks Google for two read-only permissions. It cannot change anything in your Google account, Search Console or Google Analytics.
